Staying Connected - Even Through The Tough Times

By Dr. Joanne Sterns, PhD, Author

If parents don't build and nurture a relationship with their kids when they are very young, then when they grow old enough to figure out that they don't have to obey, they won't. And you lose your ability to talk with them, to walk by their side and to guide them through difficult times. Dr. Joanne Sterns offers her insight on developing nurturing relationships with our children to prepare for the challenges ahead when they grow older.

Let's Hear it For The Dads

By Angie Ballas, Red Tricycle

Women do it all the time. We find mommy support within our circle of friends, by joining a group, or even online. Heck, we can even come away with parenting tips from a random mommy at the park. More often than we care to admit, our MNO's (mom's night out) quickly turn into gab-sessions about our precious little ones. But, where can a new father turn when he's just as sleep-deprived as his wife and is feeling a bit overwhelmed by parenting? Read on and find out about Jeff Krinsky's journey as a Dad finding Dad-support in his PEPS Group!

PEPS Unplugged

By Harry Hoffman, PEPS Executive Director

When you think of PEPS, you also think of babies! One of PEPS' many unique features is that parents attend their Group meetings in each other's homes with their babies. PEPS' primary focus is helping parents find and develop peer support. Read more about how baby sightings have also increased at the PEPS offices.
