Jean Brumder is the mother of a young son. She is a member of a PEPS group that continues to meet on a weekly basis, and has co-led a PEPS group. She is also a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Prior to motherhood, Jean managed the U.S. and Latin American training program for a software company. Jean holds a B.A. in History from Willamette University.
Mary Ellen Cavallon was a PEPS Mom in 1997 with the first of her three boys. She has since led numerous Newborn groups. She also served on the Luncheon Committee in 2006 and as Chair of the Luncheon Committee in 2007. Mary Ellen has a B.A. from Middlebury College and a M. Ed. from the University of Washington. She still meets with many of her original PEPS group Moms in a monthly book club.
Jan Faull, M.Ed., has taught Parent Education for more than twenty-five years.
Jan’s weekly column Parenting for The Seattle Times appears on Saturdays. She is the Parent Advisor for Ladies Home Journal, Better Homes & Gardens and Healthy Kids online services for parents. Her articles also appear on the Microsoft Network, MSN.com. In addition, she offers parenting advice on KONG-TV Morning News, Seattle's NBC affiliate. Jan’s latest endeavor is the Baby Brain Expert for babyzone.com. She is a recognized speaker to a wide variety of local and national organizations and regularly conducts classes at Overlake Hospital on Seattle’s Eastside. Along with a team from the Comprehensive Health Education Foundation, she developed a training program titled Social Beginnings: Guiding Children Toward Positive Behavior. She is the author of four books: Mommy, I Have to Go Potty (Raefield & Roberts, 1996); Unplugging Parent-Child Power Struggles: Resolving Emotional Battles with Your Kids Ages 2-10 (Parenting Press, 2000); Darn Good Advice—Parenting (Barrons, 2005); and Darn Good Advice —Baby (Barrons, 2005).
Leann Groby has 2 girls Kayla and Alexa (now ages 12 and 8) and began her affiliation with Peps 12 years ago. Leann has been a volunteer of a PEPS group and still continues to meet every 2 weeks with her original group - even after 12 years. Leann is a Home Loan Consultant at Countrywide, and previously held a variety of marketing positions at AT&T Wireless, Westin Hotels, MCI and Shurgard Storage Centers. Leann has a BA from Seattle University.
Stephen Fisher is the father of one young son, Benjamin. They participated in a parent-coop preschool during Benjamin’s infant and toddler years. Stephen is a lifelong resident of Seattle, and supports Big Brother/Big Sister of King County, the Northwest Film Forum (non-profit film studio), and the Seattle Area LEGO User’s Group. In his spare time, he works at F5 Networks. He has a B.S. from Central Washington University."
Adrianne Keffeler is the mother of two young children. Adrianne was in two PEPS Groups - one for each child - and has volunteered twice as a PEPS Group Leader.
Cara Lewis is a proud mother tiger to Theo and a grateful partner to Andy. She is also a communications consultant specializing in communication strategy, public relations, program development, and marketing communications management. Cara and Andy lived in Northern California and North Carolina before moving to Seattle in 2004. Cara is passionate about building community by helping people connect and communicate.
Ted Meenk is a licensed Realtor with John L. Scott. Ted is a graduate of the University of Washington, a graduate of The Realtor Institute (GRI) and and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).
Cliff Meyer is a consultant in marketing, fundraising and communications projects for nonprofits and educational organizations. He has also held positions at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Richard Hugo House and the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Affairs. In a previous life on the East Coast, Cliff was an editor at daily newspapers. He has a BA from Wesleyan University and an MPA from UW. Prior Boards include Seattle Youth Involvement Network. Cliff and his wife, Alle, have two young children and are in a PEPS Group that has met since 2003. Cliff also led a PEPS Group as a volunteer.
Rick Miller is the father of two girls. He and his wife both participated in a PEPS Group which has continued meeting regularly for over 6 years. Rick is a financial advisor and CPA in Seattle focusing primarily on investment management and tax planning services. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho, avid cyclist and has previously served as treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Sumpter Valley Railroad Restoration in Eastern Oregon.
Andrea Radosevich has a young son and is part of a PEPS group whose members continue to meet and provide support to one another in the pre-school years. She has also volunteered as a PEPS group leader. She is an attorney specializing in corporate law and works as in-house counsel at Washington Mutual. She is a graduate of Pomona College and Harvard Law School.
Gretchen Salazar has two young children, a daughter and a son. Gretchen is an attorney with Mills Myers Swartling. Her PEPS Group formed in 2003 and still meets regularly. She is a graduate of California Lutheran University and the Seattle University School of Law.
Marni Seneker is a professional volunteer and a mother of two. In addition to the PEPS board, Marni plans the Pied Piper children’s entertainment series in the Mount Baker neighborhood and is a former member of the Mount Baker Community Club Board. Prior to full-time parenting, Marni led acquisitions for a leverage build-up in Los Angeles. Marni and her two children still meet weekly with members of her PEPS group.
Lavinia Touchton is the mother of one son, Christopher. A native of Florida, she worked as both a teacher and a fundraiser at Tampa Preparatory School, where she also served on the Board of Trustees, and was a member of the Junior Leagues of Tampa and Miami. She is a member of SVP-Seattle and serves on the national selection committee for the Jefferson Scholarship Program at the University of Virginia. Lavinia has a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Liberal Arts from Harvard University.
Kate Vaughan is the mother of two young children, a daughter and son. A graduate of UW law school, Kate is an attorney with Perkins Coie LLP specializing in complex contract litigation and antitrust. In addition to supporting PEPS, she focuses her community efforts on improving the lives of children in foster care, regularly representing Guardian Ad Litems for foster children in Dependency Court proceedings. She enjoys meeting with her PEPS group, which has continued meeting regularly for over four years.
Susan Ward is the proud mother of two beautiful young children – a girl and a boy. She still enjoys meeting regularly with her PEPS newborn group. On a professional level, Susan has extensive experience in product marketing and sales and is currently employed at Microsoft Corporation. She holds a B.A. in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College.
Sherri Wolson is the mother of a young daughter. She is an attorney, with experience in the fields of antitrust, telecommunications and appellate litigation. When she returned to Seattle in 2003, she decided to take a break from practicing law and spend time working on behalf of women and girls. She is a partner with Social Venture Partners, has volunteered with the Northwest Women's Law Center, the ACLU and Stanford University, and served on the Board of Passages Northwest. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School.
