Mary Gentry, Program Director

Mary Gentry's bio

Mary oversees PEPS program operations, focusing on program planning, implementation, oversight, and evaluation. She does everything she can to ensure every parent has the best PEPS experience possible!

Prior to PEPS, Mary worked in the field of career/life planning for many years as an administrator, trainer, and service provider for local government, non-profit and educational institutions. In addition to her job at PEPS, Mary is employed at Seattle Central Community College as a parent educator.

Outside of PEPS: Mary’s non-work interests revolve around family and two children, ages 17 and 21; 4-H (you’ll see us in the llama/alpaca barns at local fairs); hiking; cross country skiing and partner dance. Mary has served on the board of the Baby Corner and currently is an elder of the Mt Baker Park Presbyterian Church.

Education: Mary holds a BA from Hanover College and a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. She is a Washington State Registered Counselor and a Certified Gottman Educator for Bringing Baby Home, a workshop for expectant and new parents.
