Sandra Wallace, Newborn Program Manager

Sandra Wallace's bio

Sandra has been part of PEPS since 1983, first as a founding Board Member and ever since as a key staff member. Currently Sandra plays the essential role of monitoring the satisfaction and progress of each and every PEPS Group through participant surveys and weekly volunteer Group Leader reports. Sandra also supervises the active Group Leaders, interviews potential new volunteers, and leads monthly training sessions.

Before helping to start PEPS, Sandra was Director of Volunteers at Children’s Hospital, served on the faculty at Bellevue Community College, and worked as a Career Counselor.

Outside of PEPS: Sandra has two children, Lynn and Jill and four grandchildren. She still teaches a class at Bellevue Community College called New Choices: Midlife Planning for Baby Boomers and spends whatever free time she has left attending her grandchildren’s sporting events..

Education: Sandra has a BA in Education and a Masters in Education Psychology from the University of Washington
