What is Bringing Baby Home?

Based on the research of Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Bringing Baby Home is the acclaimed 12-hour, two-day workshop for expectant couples and parents with young children.  This two-day (Saturday/Sunday) workshop is designed to provide research-based knowledge and skills that will dramatically strengthen your relationship and teach you to interact with your baby in a sensitive and responsive manner.

When and where is Brining Baby Home offered?

Bringing Baby Home workshops are offered by PEPS on a quarterly schedule. The next sessions are September 6th and 7th, 2008 and November 8th and 9th, 2008. Both days of each session run from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

PEPS Bringing Baby Home workshops are held on the Seattle Pacific University campus.

How do we register?

Registration for Bringing Baby Home is by an email to hilarya@pepsgroup.org. In  additon to personal contact information, please let us know which session you are interested in.

We’re still expecting our child.  When should we sign up for Bringing Baby Home?

Bringing Baby Home workshops are offered by PEPS on a quarterly schedule. You can register anytime before your baby is due or shortly thereafter. We suggest you register early as these workshops fill up fast.

 Can we bring our baby to the workshop?

You bet. Babies up to six months of age are welcome; however space for couples with babies is limited. Please be sure to let us know if you plan to bring your child to the workshop.

What does it cost to be attend Bringing Baby Home?

The current payment is $150 per couple. Partial or full scholarships are available for qualifying families.

What does my Bringing Baby Home fee pay for?

Your payment for Bringing Baby Home covers part of the cost of putting on this wonderful workshop, including instructors, room rental, snacks and administrative costs of registration and notification.

Is Bringing Baby Home limited to certain types of parents?

PEPS workshops and groups are open to ALL  parents.  As long as you're a couple that is about to -- or recently did -- bring home a baby, this workshop is for you.

Is Bringing Baby Home only for couples?

Yes.  Because Bringing Baby Home is a relationship-focused workshop, it is reserved for parenting couples.

Does PEPS offer Bringing Baby Home in Snohomish County?

Not yet!  For now, Snohomish County residents are welcome to register for our Seattle sessions.

What other programs does PEPS offer?

Orientation, Newborn Groups, and Little PEPperS.
